Silk Velvet, 250g/m²

This silk velvet (the ground fabric of pure silk, the pile of high-grade, shiny viscose), dyed in black, shows a noble lustre and is ideally suited for artful evening wear. The deep black fabric can be superbly combined with gold or silver, but also with fabrics in full colours. A wonderful fabric for trimmings, collars, evening purses, charming scarves and shawls. Scarves can be printed with gold and metallic colours in a spectacular fashion. Paint, print, or spray the velvet with discharge powder: This can remove the deep black hue or simply lighten it up a little - which creates fascinating shot coloured effects! The discoloured areas can even be dyed or painted anew.
