Cloqué 16 Stripe

Two layers of light silk are woven together with a fine stripe, with a distance of about one centimeter. This results in a wonderfully soft double fabric with a slightly raised cloqué stripe. The silver shine of this material is very noticeable and ideal for blouses, tunics and light dresses as well as scarves and shawls. The discreet, classic pattern and the radiant silk shimmer allows for any artistic design: as you can see in our example, the color gradients are amazingly accentuated (read more about that in our IDEEN.com-Journal in the article "tone on tone")! Batik, shibori, spray coloring and printing find a unusually beautiful partner in this fabric.
