FLYFEL^®-duoweb: A new idea from IDEEN.com!
For this doubleface-fleece, two flimsy layers of super fine FLYFEL^®- merinowool were needled together.
FLYFEL^®-duoweb has two sides, which can both be used in very versatile ways. Wonderful for Nuno-felting but also perfect for purely felted, soft and colorful objects.
When lightly felted, striking and strong contrast are created. Intensive felting lets the front- and backside melt together more and a beautiful Mélange-effect is created.

For this design example an approximately 170x40cm piece of FLYFEL^®-duoweb in black/red with rounded edges was cut to size and purely felted. A handspun yarn out of FLYFEL^®-tops in the same color shades serves as a felted border and fringes on both ends.

A design example out of differently wide horizontal stripes out of FLYFEL^®-duoweb, which were felted together while slightly overlapping. Alternating with the black and red side on top. The stripes were not cut but carefully pulled apart by hand, that way smooth transitions are created.

An unsual idea for a felted scarf!
For this, an approximate 160x35cm piece of FLYFEL^®-duoweb was purely felted and after drying, smoothly ironed using a lot of steam. Afterward it was cut into stripes of a couple centimeters wide, using a rotary fabric cutter.
Pay attention to leave a couple of centimeters about every 30cm uncut, in order for the scarf to hold together.
After cutting, this scarf was slightly dampened, again lightly felted in the sink and later hung dry in order to create a slight crinkle effect.
