A wonderful, elegantly flowing georgette with an intricately woven in bamboo pattern. The silk consists of an open, looses panama fabric, which seems to be transparent but with a veiling character at the same time. The panama binding has a slightly raised structure, while the bamboo pattern appears to be flat, smooth and semi gloss embedded. This creme-colored silk fabric is very suitable for light, half transparent outerwear and fine flowing, handmade scarves. The pattern is also perfect for noble curtains (silk is not suitable for windows facing south!), that give a room a summery bright atmosphere with an asian, colonial flair.
