Ramie Gauze

Loosely woven ramie fabric in linen look with fine irregularities and thickenings, which liven up the fabric visually. Ramie gauze is similar to cheese cloths but has more volume and weight, while still falling softly. An ideal fabric for curtains! It is relatively transparent and lets in a lot of light but still offers an adequate view protection during the day, when hung generously. By washing followed by drying in the dryer, a wonderfully soft material with a lively pimple structure is obtained. Through this the fabric becomes denser: count on a rest shrinkage of 6-10%. Ramie gauze is also wonderfully suitable as a base material for nuno felting! The super fine FLYFEL-tops have perfect requirements to hold on to this fabric and result in a softly falling felt fabric with a comfortable grip.
