A discreet structure and fine silk shimmer characterize this fabric, which is excellent for light tops (like blouses and summer shirts) as well as shawls and scarves. The weft of the material is made of spun silk yarn, which shows up with fine irregularities and a very delicate tuft and forms the charm of taffeta 10.5. Silk painting and all other dying techniques are wonderfully accentuated. The soft grip, the casual fall and the delicate shimmer make this material into a fabric that you feel comfortable in!

Silk painting and all other dying techniques are wonderfully accentuated. The soft grip, the casual fall and the delicate shimmer make this material into a fabric that you feel comfortable in!

For this design example, a bold, intersecting motif was first painted onto the stretched white silk, using transparent Gutta. Afterward, the created areas were filled in with harmonic shades of color.
