Long scarf

Tissu de Gaze creates wonderful moiré-effects when double layered, with two different colors an exclusive changeant-effect is additionally created. A dream for all textile artists!

Here you can see a combination of black and purple.

An elegantly changeable Nuno-felt scarf out of one red and one black Tissu de gaze scarf, as well as ring shaped FLYFEL®-pads in the same colors.

How it works:

First spread the scarf on a felting base and cover it with two packages of ring shaped FLYFEL®-pads. Just slightly felt on the motifs and cut the tissu fabric out of the bigger rings. Now turn the scarf around, the merino wool on the bottom. Lay the red scarf exactly on top and cut holes into the scarf at the exact same spots. Spread the same FLYFEL®-pads in red in the areas of the black rings.
Now all the layers can be felted together.

Tissu de gaze scarves are especially well suitable for such changeable effects.

This design example shows a scarf that was first bleached with decoloration paste and later accentuated with fine silver Gutta lines.

New and wonderfully elegant nuances and effects are continuously created through overlapping colors of the transparent fabric.
