A super delicate Pongee with a worked in checkered jacquard and additional crinkle effect. This silk wins over by its transparent airiness and the gorgeous shine of the super finely woven stripes warp and weft wise, which create the checkered pattern.

A super delicate Pongee with a worked in checkered jacquard and additional crinkle effect. This silk wins over by its transparent airiness and the gorgeous shine of the super finely woven stripes warp and weft wise, which create the checkered pattern.

Here is an example for the famous salt technique.
Many different colors of the Avantgarde series were applied onto the white scarf. Partially wet on wet, partially on dry ground and then sprinkled with effect salt.
When the color dries, exciting effects with the typical bizarre dry edges are created.
For this technique, it is not necessary to stretch the scarf onto a frame... it is enough to more or less crinkle the silk together and place it on a foil base.
