With this unique fleece, one can create velvety soft felt surfaces with
an almost metallic looking silk shine.
Design example.
This scarf is
made out of a piece of natural white Pongee 05, which was felted with
FLYFEL®-wosiweb. Little felted lines out of silk-sliver make for
shimmering effects on the lustreless surface.
After felting, the
entire nuno-felt scarf was dyed with natural indigo. More info about

Design example. For this impressive shiny scarf, an approx. 160x40cm large piece of natural colored FLYFEL
®-wosiweb was simply felted flat. To create this piece, pressure was applied to the middle and the felt was stretched out to the sides. That way a wavy edge is created. After felting, the scarf was first dyed yellow in a pot, shuffled together lengthwise and finally the edges were
dip-dyed in red silk paint.

Pongé-scarf was wholly felted onto natural white
FLYFEL®-wosiweb. The delicate silk fabric pulls together to a fine bubble pattern during the felting process and through that the surface appears like a mulberry silk cocoon. These decorate the end of the Nuno-Felt scarf.
