This silk radiates pure extravagance! Organza 5.5 resembles silk Chiffon 06, but in comparison it has a finer silk shimmer and a slightly stronger feel. This popular feel results from the remaining silk gum, which once gave the cocoon its stability, and is intentionally not fully removed.
Organza is often preferably chosen for noble garments, such as blouses and tops, for festive shawls and stoles with gathers, as well as for home decor elements like table runners, curtains and partitions.
If used in two layers, spectacular iridescent and moiré effects emerge.
