Long scarf

This super fine silk quality is woven with yarns out of the highest quality grade 5A. The unimaginable fineness can be examined on the highest zoom setting. Due to the impressive acuteness of the pictures you can even see the reflective fabric in the lurex yarns! The super fine yarns of this fabric prove to us that even high quality chiffon is still gradable. After washing the fabric crinkles noticeably. This can be use for design purposes but also wholly or partly ironed smooth. The neutral colored, transparent Lurex thread adapts to any color and gives every fabric a noble luxurious gleam and uncountable little highlights. Also available as yardware, IDEEN no. 15047. Unfortunately by now hand rolling is a problem in China but especially with this scarf it becomes clear that we are still fortunate to be able to deliver good rolled quality.

This example was created by using a wax technique. Liquid wax was applied onto a stretched scarf in bolt wavy lines using a tjanting tool. Afterward, the areas were dyed in different shades of blue. Fine lurex threads add highlights to the delicate painting.

This nuno-felt scarf is made from a natural white Chiffon 05-scarf, which has been painted using the wax-technique and was subsequently felted on fittingly coloured FLYFEL®-web with its entire surface. Both layers quickly connect entirely and the motif appears to be painted directly on the wool. The delicate Lurex threads give this scarf an especially elegant look.
